Bring your
strengths.
Great grassroots clubs are built by good people. Whether you can coach, organise, support events or help behind the scenes, your time can create opportunities and memories for children.
Ways to get involved.
You do not need to know everything on day one. What matters most is being reliable, respectful, willing to learn and committed to putting children first.
Coaching
Help plan and deliver positive, inclusive and age-appropriate football sessions under our child-first standards.
Team administration
Support registrations, fixtures, communications and the organised day-to-day running of a team.
Matchday support
Assist with equipment, respectful environments, events and practical details that help children enjoy football.
Committee & governance
Contribute skills in finance, safeguarding, policy, administration, partnerships or sustainable club development.
Media & memories
Help record club news and positive milestones responsibly, with consent, privacy and safeguarding at the forefront.
Community & fundraising
Strengthen local relationships, events, sponsorship and opportunities that benefit our young players.
Could you start
the next team?
If you are passionate about creating opportunities for children and would like to establish a Lilly Street Lions team in another age group, we want to hear from you.
Start the conversation
Tell us about your experience, the age group and why our values connect with you.
Build it properly
We will discuss club standards, affiliation, safeguarding, coaching requirements, facilities and a sustainable plan.
Support around you
Approved teams operate under the same identity, governance and child-first philosophy as the wider club.
Safer recruitment is essential.
Roles involving children are subject to appropriate application, references, identity checks, DBS processes, safeguarding requirements and relevant FA learning. Appointment is never automatic.
