01

Safeguarding & welfare

Every decision starts with the child. Concerns are handled promptly, sensitively and through the correct safeguarding route. Our Club Welfare Officer is the first point of contact for club welfare matters.

02

Anti-bullying

Bullying, discrimination and intimidation are not accepted. We listen to children, record concerns, involve parents appropriately and act to restore a safe, positive environment.

03

Codes of conduct

Players, parents, coaches, officials and spectators are expected to show respect, promote fair play and represent the Pride positively at training, matches and online.

04

Complaints

We aim to resolve ordinary concerns early and fairly. A formal complaint can be sent to the Club Secretary. Safeguarding concerns should go directly to the Welfare Officer.

05

Privacy & data

We use only the information needed for membership, football administration, safety and club communications. Access is limited and information is retained only for as long as required.

06

Photography & video

Images are used only with appropriate consent and with children’s safety in mind. Families can raise concerns or withdraw consent by contacting the club.

07

Missing child procedure

Training and matchday attendance, handovers and emergency contacts form part of our safety arrangements. If a child cannot be located, coaches follow the club’s immediate escalation procedure.

08

Equality & inclusion

Every child should be welcomed and valued. We work to remove barriers to participation and do not tolerate discrimination on or off the pitch.

09

Health & safety

Sessions are planned with suitable equipment, facilities, first-aid arrangements, emergency contacts and age-appropriate risk management.

10

Governance

The committee oversees the club’s standards, finances, welfare and football administration. Decisions are guided by our constitution, FA requirements and the best interests of children.

Speak up

We will listen.

If something does not feel right, tell an appropriate club official. For immediate danger, contact the emergency services. Safeguarding concerns can also be reported through the relevant FA safeguarding route.
